Power of attorney given to Mirza Zayn al-‘Abidin, son of Haji Muhammad Hasan from Shiraz, by Ruqayah Baygum, daughter of Mirza Muhammad Ja‘far Jarrah [the surgeon] from Shiraz, who was married to Mirza Ahmad and now is Aqa ‘Ali Aqa's wife, in order to get her mahr (according to the marriage contract) from Mirza Sadra and Haji Mirza Aqa, brothers of Mirza Ahmad, and to get her share of Mirza Ahmad's inheritance. Letter written by the attorney of Sayyid Husayn's wife to the lower court, 1929
Sayyid Husayn coercively divorced his wife, in the presence of Sayyid Abu al-Qasim (prayer leader of ‘Ali mosque), with the wife waiving her mahr and the condition of no return after divorce. Now after five months, when she wants to marry another man, Sayyid Husayn claims that he wants to remarry her, even though her marriage contract has been abrogated.

Bihjat Khanum's claim regarding her mahr and alimony, 1926
Bihjat Khanum, daughter of the late Sayyid Muhammad, gives the power of attorney to Sayyid Sulayman in order to claim alimony and her mahr from her husband Tahmasb Khan, son of the late ‘Ali Mirza. Her husband has not paid any alimony since they married two years ago. Ayatollah Muhammad Ja‘far approves Bihjat Khanum's claims and rules against Tahmasb Khan, the husband.

Marriage contract of Saltanat Khanum (known as Mukhbar al-Saltanah), daughter of Davud Mirza, and Shahzadah [prince] ‘Abbas Mirza, son of Haj Muhammad Mahdi Mirza, on March 15, 1910; the mahr includes a Qurʼan worth twenty-five tumans, one-twelfth of [illegible] ‘Abbas Abad village, five hundred tumans, a female Abyssinian slave worth one hundred and fifty tumans, and five mans [unit of weight] of silk.
